Anguilla shopoing is not exactly a mecca, but it is just a short ferry ride to St. Martin for serious shoppers. Anguilla shopping has great local crafts and luxury fashion (think islands, not 5th ave.) Specialty island fashions dominate shopping in Anguilla; with sunglasses, jewelry, swimwear and sportswear dominating. These items carry weight, as Anguilla shopping does not have the luxury of a duty-free shopping structure. Anguilla shopping can be a treat of local flavor though, head to the Valley (the biggest arts and crafts gathering for shopping in Anguilla) and find local artists newest works alongside carved island symbols in a great contrast of Caribbean art.

For upscale shoping on Anguilla; it sells designer jewelry, La Perla swimwear, Go Silk resort wear and other upscale items.

CuisinArt Resort & Spa Art Gallery:
Located at the resort on Rendezvous Bay, Anguilla Antonio Nimiaci’s gallery displays a nice selection of original art from Italy by world-renowned artists.

The Devonish Gallery on Anguilla features wood, stone and clay creations by internationally acclaimed Courtney Devonish a sculptor who works in wood and ceramics. The gallery, also, features other artists and a collection of antique maps as well as bead jewelry.

Visitors will find the supermarkets in Anguilla are well stocked and offering a staggering array of exotic and distinguished speciality foods for the good life. There are large grocery stores on Anguilla in The Valley and smaller convenience stores located all over the island, some are open until 9:00 PM and some are even open on Sunday.
